116 Crown St, New Haven, CT

This elegant building now houses a bar and sandwich restaurant in the shop fronts and recently rehabbed apartments above. Romanesque Revival features include brick pilasters and prominent arches at the 4th floor. Metal bay windows with green patina also enhance the presence of this building. Known for many years as the Maylinger Block, it was home to the National Hotel from 1912 to 1984.
